Pan GH2 Color Cast Images
« on: July 04, 2012, 12:53:12 pm »

Curious to know if other Pan GH2 users have a "greenish" cast to their images on a regular basis when the Program mode is used & if so, what you might have done about it?  All programs are more or less at the default.

I live at high altitude (mounts. of Colo---ultra violet rays??)----- may be an issue which I am not ruling out but not really plausible.

Your comments---thank you--Raymond

Certainly in JPEG, many people have said they don't like Panasonic's color balance very much.  Using the white balance trims to adjust the colors is the usual suggestion.

I think a magenta cast is more common than green (with jpegs).  What are your shooting settings? Raw or jpeg?  AutoWB or something else? Film mode?

One thing about the GH2 is that the white balance button is really easy to hit by accident while holding the camera. Any chance you've accidentally changed the setting?
