« on: July 01, 2012, 11:58:17 am »

Heavy showers and warm air flows have made for some good skys over Britain of late, Bamburgh castle's west walls capture the very brief evening light....it lasted about 4mins i caught 58 secs...any thoughts/comments opinions?

I like the quality of the light and the blue sky vs the orange castle walls.

Well done!

Lovely image Shaun.

Its true isn't it - the right light just transforms even an iconic view into something breathtaking.

Congratulations.

Even better in my opinion but the first one was already very nice!

Than you Tony ...re the light it really was an amazing transformation to see, that west wall must be what about 200/300m across? before the light got through it was a deep dull death grey not at all inspiring for me, i was about to call it a day.
