Guillotine Cutter/Trimmer?

I have a guillotine trimmer that I've been using for about 25 years, but it's becoming rather sloppy and not as accurate as it once was.  HUH!...I can identify with that   Just wanted to know if any of you folks have knowledge of a company still making these heavy-duty trimmers in either 24 or 30" size.  As mentioned, this is indeed a heavy cutter, but has seen better days.

Dahle and Kutrimmer both make  Guillotine cutter's that large. I have both, the Dahle is my larger one. Over 40".

I have a Krause 61" board cutter as we call them and in the US board shear is the right name I think. It is in use for over 30 years at my place and I bought it secondhand. There is an extra blade with it but over that time I only had one blade sharpened while I often cut polycarbonate and even aluminium sheets with it. I think you should check whether the blade is removable and can be sharpened. Similar models were made by Schimanek in Europe but I recall that there was also a US graphic equipment company, like Vandercook that made them.

I have a czech paper cutter like that (Adast Maxima) in my tiny printing shop and it's excellent. The only problem is that it needs three-phase current, takes large amount of place and weights >1 ton. It also have hudge, exchangable knife that has to be sharpened from time to time.

I know that one, more modern than mine. Here it is a 105 cm wide Krause VEB Polygraph so a DDR product from 1953, leather belt driven from a 1 HP 3 phase motor, I guess I can sell it for more now on steel weight only than I paid for it secondhand in the early 80's. Completely forbidden in any shop with employees so it will be sold as steel.
