Print size problem
« on: June 24, 2012, 11:31:03 pm »

Trying to make a test print

Original Size=11.5x 17.28  300DPI

Print module dimensions  Cell size 8x10.5  300 dpi

I send this to the Canon 6100 printer -> the page size shown is 13x19   I try and change it to 8.5 x11-> thecell size shown is 7.006x10,509

However, when printed tie image comes out at about 4x6 on a 8.5 x11 sheet.

I cannot get it to print out on and letter size sheet with the proper size

Help

I too have a 6100 printer, so I'll take a stab at helping. Let me say first, I don't print a lot, and the 6100 seems to have a mind of its own a lot of the time. Everything has to be just right and your tongue has to be in the correct side of your mouth.
Anyway, make sure you use the page set-up button on the left panel of LR first to get all that correct. Also, maybe even before that button, go to the printer itself and the load paper button sequence, and scroll through those choices to get the paper size you need. It may be listed as an A or B something-or-other (like 13x19 is A3+). I think somewhere in there is your problem. Good luck.

Thanks for the help

Selected 8x10 size on the left panes, then changed the cell size sliders on the right pane to get the whole image on the page-> save the template-?> print->  BINGO!!
