Thanks Ario, I suspect that Adobe can fix it with a new release, just hope it is on their radar.

A RAW developer has been doing some good posts on the X-Pro1 processing, two more recent and interesting posts:
http://chromasoft.blogspot.ca/2012/05/lightroom-41-and-fuji-x-pro1-oh-dear.html
http://chromasoft.blogspot.ca/2012/05/demosaicing-fuji-x-pro1-part-3.html
Certainly there may be room for improvement in the LR4.1 rendering, but one might temper their expectations as it seems everyone is having trouble with it (even the RAW converter provided with the camera). There are some fundamental limits to the choice of the filter array.

There is a beta of Raw Photo Processor that shows *much* better fine detail (for example in distant foliage in shots) so we know that a great improvement is possible.

True, Lee, but even RPP does not solve (yet) the problem of chroma smearing.

Hi Ario
Oh, I thought it was at least better but admittedly have been concentrating on my distant green foliage than chroma smearing and was even assuming this was the same issue!
Cheers
