Banner printing on a 7900
« on: May 26, 2012, 07:19:27 pm »

I would like to print a banner 30-50' x 17 or 24" using existing photos which would be sized 17x22 approx. What is the best way to do this I would be printing from photoshop.

Thanks
Pierre

Yikes.  Don't know about PS.  Epson Driver stops you at 90" or something like that.  Qimage has a way to override the Epson Driver for things like this.  Check it out.

There is a limit on QImage too, but it is much faster than using the Epson driver as it breaks the file into "pages", sent one at a time so spooling is almost instant. My longest print so far is 10.5m i.e. 30 feet. Most art paper rolls are limited to 12-15m. Most RIPs will provide long lengths too.
