I'm pretty much convinced I should buy a D800/e, but all the discussion on the forums here has me somewhat uncertain which model to choose. You wrote that you bought both, and it sounds to me like you favor the D800e, but since it sounds like you're planning on hanging onto the D800, it would be great if you could elaborate. Are there times you would take the D800 on a shoot over the D800e? If so, when? If not, how do you intend to use it?
Also, I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on the discussion of deconvolution sharpening in connection with this subject.
