Upgrading to CS6 (good deal alert)
« on: May 04, 2012, 05:58:47 pm »

This may be old news to to some of you but I happened upon the Adobe website to day and spotted a worthwhile deal.

I have Adobe CS 5 Standard Edition Suite.

With the purchase of a CS 5.5 Standard Edition Suite upgrade at $299, the upgrade to CS6 Standard Edition Suite is included when it is released.

By my calculation, about a $250 savings vs. waiting until the CS 6 suite is released. Website says this offer expires May 6.

I did the same thing- also with CS5 and CS3

It is just the best time to upgrade- in between.

the period in between is very short this time- Adobe likes to reduce it tot the minimum..

Staples is offering 20% off on all software to make this an even better deal.

That is a killer coupon but under step 2 it says to click on the "print coupon" icon.  I do not see any print coupon icon on that page.  Is it working for everyone else or is anyone else having this problem?

Thanks,
Doug

be careful guys, I looked into this possibly buying from amazon, but you have to buy from an "authorized reseller", so double check.

I was working ok before.   I'm sure if you copied the ad and took it to your local store they would make it work.   Staples is an authorized reseller for Adobe so that part is good.

FMueller

Thank you very much for this tip.  I was able to pay to upgrade my CS5 Master Collection to CS5.5 Master Collection on 5th May and then last week Adobe emailed me a link for my free download of CS6 Master Collection. At UK prices this saved me over £370 (over $580).

Many thanks
Nigel
