Red-legged Honeycreeper (Costa Rica)
« on: May 04, 2012, 12:21:29 pm »

I just love this species! I first saw them in Costa RIca back in 2005. They were actually one of the first tropical birds I ever photographed so I guess I feel some nostalgia for them. This shot was taken on my workshop at a feeder setup that I did. I cloned out some papaya that was hanging down in to the upper right part of the frame.

Cheers!

Glenn again you really know what your doing.  Your bird shots are great.  Not sure if I've said this before but you should if you get a chance see if you can get into see the original Eliot Porter bird collection at the Amon Carted in Fort Worth.  I've seen them they are truly inspirational, you would really cherish that day.  Tim Wolcott
