It was my first experience in photographing indoor sporting events.
I shot at 640 ISO, trying to capture some of the best moments, but I had to move very very quickly.
I have taken about 250 pictures in 3 hours (a single shot every 43-44 seconds... using a rangefinder camera).

Think, then, of the oldsters (kids at the time, some of them) doing it with Speed Graphics...

Yep, boxing is a difficult sport to shoot but you got excellent results. Using a RF camera only adds to the difficulty... Congrats again.

So true, some photographers take AF, VR, high ISO, 10+ fps etc.. for granted. Back then, photographers used what was available and these low tech cameras of yesterdays didn't stop them to produce remarkable photos.
