Epson 9900 paper type question
« on: May 01, 2012, 12:44:19 pm »

Does anyone know why there is not an actual setting for Presentation Matte Paper under paper type on my printer. I always use the Photo Quality IJ paper option because that is what i read somewhere. I would love to know if there is a way to get this actual paper type on my machine so that I can use the online epson printer reports for actual cost properly. Right now it does not know what to use for paper type because it does not recognize the Photo Quality IJ paper. I have to select it manually for each print to get my cost :(

Thanks for any help

Not sure why Epson doesn't have an exact paper type to match, however on the info sheet that comes with the paper
Epson should state which paper type to use.  They will often use one paper type to cover several paper types.  Example is
the use of Water Color Radiant White, which covers both fine art papers and canvas.

You can also find the info sheet data on line on the main Epson product site.
