A Simple Shot
« on: April 21, 2012, 04:39:08 pm »

Shot from the side window of my Mini...raining cats and dogs, so I knew I only had time for one exposure before I drenched the leather. Did some quick presets and set a three shot a 3 stop bracket.

Good capture. I'm glad you kept the grasses on the left to balance the trees on the right.

Thanks, all...question: at the bottom of many images there is a url link to the original sized image. Is thereone particularl site everyone is using to accomplish this? I primarily use flickr but can't see how to do it from their page. This images loses a lot in translation.

Not such a simple shot at all. Having the discipline to stop and shoot whenever you see a possible photograph is a valuable asset. I'm glad you stopped the car and delighted you posted this. The leather will dry out but that scene is gone forever.

Yes. What Eric said.  That's quite the storm!
