I stepped away from this issue, but wanted to bump it back.
More details.
I am running win7 64 bit on 2 PC's. LR 4.1 64 bit, Gibabyte GTX 470 nvidia chipset, One PC has a NEC 2690, the other has a NEC 3090, both
running spectravision and color managed.
My goal: to use the web module to convert images in mass from prophoto to sRGB.
My workflow: I import the images as prophoto, and then move to the web module.
Note, when viewed in the develop module, the images are fine
My problem: after I move the web module, and display the images in a Lightoom HTML gallery, the files when viewed in Lightroom (by double clicking on the
thumbnails) are very over saturated.
If I export the files as they are: I get the following.
When opened in CS or any color managed program like breezebrowser, the images are correct, they open as sRGB and the colors appear correct.
However it appears LR leaves the images at 240 dpi not sure why this is.
In LR, if I double click on the thumbnail, the image is over saturated, if I select view the image in a browser, the image opens correctly as far as color, not over saturated.
I have reset my pref. file and still have the issue. I realize that it's a "view only" issue, but it still bothers me and I would appreciate any ideas as to how to fix.
My browsers are Firefox or Internet explore 64 bit. Again images appear OK in both.
Thanks
Paul
