This is Asus's answer to the Mac Air. Thin, lightweight but more powerful. Intel i7 2677M processor, 256 GB SSD, 4 GB RAM, reads SD cards, 1 USB-2 and 1 USB-3 slot and best: 1600 X 900 screen.
Known problems: The keyboard takes precise typing. I got used to it. The Sandforce SSD controller doesn't do a very good job of garbage collection on the SSD. I had mine replaced by Asus on warranty along with the integrated SSD. Just put it in performance mode and let it run for a couple of hours once a week by itself. That corrects it.
I found that I use my much heavier Malibal notebook far more than this notebook and as such am taking the hit to let someone else use it rather than have it here gathering dust. I did put the student Office on it so all you would have to do is buy a key to activate it. Comes with the box and items it shipped with.
They sell new for about $1,350. Get this like new one for $890.
