Down in Texas doing a book signing, some very nice places. This will be 3 out of the last four years I have been in Texas. You get to know an area really well when the locals remember you as the crazy guy from California. I have seen a lot down here from snakes, to bitting ants, to jiggers ect. But the people and the barbecue has been a lot of fun.. If your down this way the brisket is amazing. If your in the big cities try Lupe's Tortilla. The marinated skirt steak fatitas with portabello mushrooms and onions "Oh my lord".
Been a pleasure to create the 175th anniversary book. Here are few. The first was chosen by Nolan Ryan, second by Lyle Lovett, third by G. H. W. Bush, fourth by Ben Crenshaw. If you like to shoot flowers in the rolling hills with big oaks you should be here.
