Hi folks. A few weeks ago in preparing the notes for a talk on fine art photography, I wrote that one day we will have self-illuminating prints. Apparently the future is already with us in concept form:

If I have this right then a power source would be embedded in a wall. A print could be just taped up and inductive charging would take care of the rest.
