DisplayProfile_Linear.icc
« on: April 08, 2012, 05:45:26 pm »

I purchase i1 Display Pro (and upgraded to the most recent software) to calibrate my BenQ monitor for use with my Mac Pro running OS 10.7.3. I'm getting an error message and part of the suggested fix is to download this icc profile and then do a bunch of stuff, but the link is inactive. Anybody know where to find:

DisplayProfile_Linear.icc

Thanks!!

If I get what this is trying to tell you, it just wants the display changed to a gamma of 1 instead of the typical 2.2 or something. (It might think your display has some rediculously high gamma value that it can't deal with.)

Anyway, try this:

If that doesn't work try this:

This might not fix the problem if the software is wrong about a linear profile helping the situation (such as if the hardware is broken).
