I've ordered the Spectraview and expect it in a few days.

I've come through a number of other beginner printing issues since my last posts.

1.  Unless the paper comes out of the printer onto the tray, curles cause the print heads to jump.   Wrecked two prints figuring this out.
2.  Once you move the printer to fix the curl issue, expect ink drops to trickle onto the print.  Wrecked another print
3.  Keep your cat away from the printer.  Hairs are not good.  +1 more to the trash bin.

The whole dust hair issue has me most concerned.  I keep the printer covered when not in use but it seems this is not good enough.  What do you all do to avoid this?

We have 2 cats, and I always keep my 3880 covered when not using it, and keep them out of the room when I'm not home. That's been sufficient so far.
