Canon 5D Mark III - Release without lens
«

Just got my Canon 5D MK III.
I use some non chipped manual lenses. If I try to release them with the EF 1.4x III Extender I get an error because the extender doesn't detect a lens. Release with our extender is fine. Is there a workaround?
TIA

Thin non-conductive tape between camera and extender contacts.
Ciao, Walter
