"My friend has a problem can someone help?"
« on: March 30, 2012, 06:10:06 am »

I guess I have to start off with an apology to anyone that is really truly trying to help a friend of theirs with any type of photo or processing issues.
But...I cannot tell you how many of these posts I have seen in the last couple of years. Almost makes me chuckle.
"I have a friend who has this issue with image processing can you help him?" Just love reading these watching for the slip up that gives them away. Like my friend has a problem with print drivers and he would like me to find out for him what might be the problem. Oh by the way " my" operating system is OSX. Gotcha!
Had one of these moments myself just the other week. Had a question on a Lightroom issue and was thinking if I put up this question everyone is going to think I should know this and I must be a dummy. Maybe if I use the "I have this friend who has a problem" no one will think its really me. Nope, sucked it up and used my real name.
All in good fun, please no flaming.
