i am currently running photoshop CS4, my HP Z3200PS 44" printer and Creo IQsmart 3 scanner on an apple G5(non intel) and everything is very stable and running smoothly. I am looking to upgrade my G5 apple computer a new model G5 with a westmere 8 core processors so i can upgrade photoshop to CS5 for more usable ram. My scanner may not run on the newer MAC but i would like to run my printer on the newer computer.
How difficult would it be to install the newest drivers and software for the HP printer? How do i find out what the lastest drivers and software is? which do i install 1st for the printer?, the drivers of the software or the firmware? I paid to have the printer installed so did not install it myself.
