Cannot Export to Specific folder in Lightroom 4

Trying to export an image in Lightroom 4.

Specific Folder
Choose
2TB HD
Select "My Print Files" folder in the 2TB HD.
A warning box pops up "The specified folder is not writable".

New Mac OS 10.6.8 with new hard drives just installed.

Works just fine like that for me.  At face value, it doesn't sound like the fault is LR.  Are you able to save to the same folder with other applications?

Definitely sounds like an OS issue.  I'd use Disk Utility to unmount and remount the 2TB disk, then try again.

Was a read write "sharings and permissions" issue.
Works fine now.
