Deserted landscapes dominated by power installations
« on: March 18, 2012, 03:06:03 pm »

Have I overcooked the desaturation and contrast increase in these? I'm looking to re-create the intense bleak and windswept atmosphere that defines these areas of coast that are empty apart from the giant installations that provide power and fuel.

Thanks in advance!

Some of these remind me of Mitch Epstein's work - 'American Power' where the industry overshadows the landscape.

Nice work.

Thanks Barry, 'American Power' was one of the works that has inspired me to look further than beautiful scenery for my landscape series. I think his work is excellent!
