Aviogon, (brother of Lamegon and Biogon)
« on: March 15, 2012, 10:20:11 am »

Hi, by sheer luck I managed to obtain 70kg-weight Williamson aerial camera with 153mm f 1:5,6 Aviogon. I am going to disassemble the camera. Only the rotary shutter of it is 5kg. The naked lens has to be 14kg (source: ebay). Probably, this is the sharpest wide angle lens ever.
Do you know any DIY aplication of it for "normal" photography? For example for 8x10 camera?

Do you have a Lancaster bomber to mount it in?

My first vision was a tank with this camera on the turret assembled. As I wrote before I would like to take "normal" pictures. :)
