HDR and Lightroom 4
« on: March 13, 2012, 04:20:41 pm »

I know that Lightroom 4 does not do hdr directly and  you end up exporting to another program, but here is an interesting observation from Christian Block about Lightroom 4 and the ability to recover highlights can lead to some reduction in the highlights after merging. I have not tried this but I thought I would see if anyone else has noticed this or not. Here is the post from his blog: HDR labs blog

Guess you don't read the Lightroom forum much huh? Already talked about in this thread and Christian has already posted on the thread.

Actually you can do an HDR-like** process directly in Lightroom with Enfuse. Quite nice too.

** due to the lengthy debate here a few months ago about what is and isn’t “HDR” I’m going to preface the comment as HDR-Like to protect myself <g>
