Devils Garden

Recently I went to Bryce Canyon to photograph the snow scene there. On the way back I drove a small section of the famous "Hole in the Rock" and found this lovely place called Devil's Garden. There are many interesting rock formation by the picnic area. I shot a few and will definitely go back for sunset and sunrise shots.

These are nice, but the sky is too blue and the lighting a bit harsh.  I am not questioning the veracity of the images, but in this case it appears that you may have been victim of too much of a good thing. That sky is distractingly dark.

I like the juxtaposition of the gray and dried out tree against the red rocks.

Very nice images and I have to agree about the sky, it's too dark/saturated. One has to be very careful in that kind of conditions. Fixing a sky might not be that easy if the shots were made with wide lenses and a polarizer.
Here, you should have no problem with Photoshop…

#1 for me, too.  I like that deep blue.  I like the textured foreground, and, of course, the wonderful shape of the rock.  A very nice composition.  A nice relationship of the different parts.
