As a graphic, the long style is a vector (repeated by the dark shadow) which leads me straight out of the top-right hand corner of the picture.
Does that matter? It's a very pleasing image and your eye can always wander back.

Hello Isaac :)  What do you mean by vector ? It is the Big spin at the right ? (I know this photo is absolutelly not perfect but it opened my eyes one some futur works).

I really like what you captured. I can see what the other poster is talking about being led out of the frame... but the idea is a good one. The theory is that subjects shouldn't take you OUT of the frame but either lead you in or hold you there.

 Try it again with the subjects laid out differently so that maybe the stem draws you to the flower or maybe arches over the flower.


Half of the fun is experimenting to see what happens and you have to start somewhere.
