Now this is what I call a pancake lens
« on: March 03, 2012, 05:00:33 pm »

Here are some first impressions of the very minuscule Perar 28/4 on a NEX-5N. This is a very impressive lens for FF, only 45gr + 10gr for hood, and aprox 17mm thick + 6,5mm for hood.

Here are some very first impressions on a NEX-5N. I couldn't resist to compare it to a Leica 28/2,8  ;). Please note that I dont claim this a proper test, so feel free to ignore rather than flame with apples versus oranges comments or pixelpeeping (yeah, admitting that).

Edit: a photo comparing size with the Leica

Interesting lens indeed. Thanks for the review. But why do you state "tpiplet" isn't a typo? It seems everyone else calls it a triplet. Anyway, thanks again.

Thanks. Because the lens was named "Tpiplet" on the lenses in the first batch. Kind of cute.
