Printing 8x10 on Canon 8100

I print with Qimage and I wanted to print an 8x10 on a 8,5x11 cut sheet but the image size is not quite a full 8x10. Is there some way to print a full 8x10?

Print a couple on a larger sheet then trim them to your size.

Even allowing 3mm all round for the printing margin, it should fit I would have thought. Are you using "fit to page" or "original size" under print properties? Also there may be an issue with the dimensions set in the printer driver. On the 6300 there is the option of "manual" or "manual 3mm margins".

Double-check the minimum margin sizes for the 8100. On the 8300 (unlike the 6300) the trailing end margin is much larger than 3mm. Basically, not useful for printing on 8.5x11" sheets. The same may be true for the 8100.

The trailing edge has either a .9" or 1" unprintable area and the leading edge border is .2". So even though you can almost get a ten inch image printed on the sheet, it won't be centered.
