I took my camera out between storms. I like how the rain ripples.

If you hadn't told me in the title that water was there, I would have never known it. Looks like tree bark to me.  ;)

There is a tree there. It's reflected in the water. Is that you are referring to?

Probably. I guess I expected to see a more pronounced rippled effect in the water and less of it looking like it's vegetation hanging on the trunk of a tree.
