What adapter for using Flash with Phaseone on Technical Camera
« on: February 19, 2012, 01:48:15 pm »

Howdy,

I'm trying to use Flash with my Cambo + IQ160 in the studio, and need to send the PC Sync signal to both the PocketWizard for the Flash, and the IQ160 back.

Looking for suggestions on what is a good adapter to do this that works well.

Regards

Mark.

Plug the flash into the flash sync port of the digital back. Voila. No adapter required! :-)

Or, I could read the manual of the back, realise it has a sync port under the other one,   plug it into the FlexTT5 via a Hotshoe adapter, and then it just works...

Thanks, the Y adapter was the thing I was thinking of.  but of course, works just fine off the Sync port of the Back !.

Only issue with the FlexTT5(canon)  I have, is have to use a hotshoe adapter to connect that to the Flex,  but it works.

Might have to get a real PW transmitter sometime.

Back to figuring out shifts and tilts with the new toy. ( Schneider 60mm TS)
