Displayport and video cards with > 8bit drivers

Just out of interest does anybody know of any video cards that have Displayport interfaces that actually have >8 bit drivers?  I know of the 'professional' ranges such as the Firepro range by ATI but I'm looking for a silent card (ie one with a passive cooler).  Most of these seem to be made for the mass market rather than for specialist graphics.

The nVidia Driver is apparently looking for cards that have compatible firmware.  Here's a description of modifying a GTX480's firmware to enable 10-bit color:
