Adobe DNG Converter Not Working with Aptus 75s Files
« on: February 13, 2012, 01:02:39 am »

I'm trying to convert my compressed Aptus 75s files to DNG so that I can work on them in Lightroom, but I'm getting an unsupported file message. I'm using version 6.6.0261 (the latest version). Are the 75s files not supported or am I missing something? Is there another way for me to get them into Lightroom as raws?

Hi John,

You need to convert them with “Leaf Raw Converter” which you can down load for free on the Leaf website. This will solve your problem.

Cheers

That or you can open an re-save them in Leaf Capture. After that you do not have to convert them to DNG as they can be opened in LR as .mos

Yair has the best advice on this I think. Get in the habit of converting to uncompressed .mos files for use in LR and you will always be able to use a lens cal file in LC if yopu need it. Lose the mosaic file and you lose the ability to use a cal file.
