• Giclee printing studio is going out of business and selling wooden stretcher bars inventory. Below is detailed description and photos of the boxes. Please read carefully before bidding. This inventory can be used for assembling giclee frames or directly in retail.
• Heavy Duty & Light Duty Stretcher Bars by "Jack Richeson" and are compatible with many other brands of stretcher bars on the market ( many local art supply stores simply put their brand sticker over the original one ). These are the same as "Utrecht" & "Best" brands and many others. Most of these are USA-made.
  
  
• "Finesun" Light Duty Stretcher Bars are Chinese-made, good quality, but about 5% of these have some flaws, like straightness issues and wood quality, though still can be used in production depending on your quality standards.
  
  
• Local pick-up from zip code 10040 (uptown Manhattan, NYC)! We do not offer shipping. Though it's possible to arrange, we decided not to hassle with packaging and shipping. Picking up locally has other advantage that a buyer can carefully check and inspect everything before loading. There is only a very small hand-truck on premises - it is recommended that a buyer brings a platform hand truck.
  
  
• It is possible to arrange inspection of the inventory and is actually a good idea to do before bidding. Please contact us if you interested.
  
  
• None of these stretcher bars are compatible with "Fredrich" brand stretcher bars.
  
  
• Wooden corner keys for "heavy duty" and plastic for "light duty" are included with this sale.
• Light Duty Stretcher Bars in sizes 40"-50"( marked with * in the table below) are very low quality. Some of them have weak "key" connections, others are not straight enough. Depending on your production process, about 25% of these can be used for assembling frames. None of these are recommended for retail.
  
  
• There is no reserve price - our loss is your gain. Many art-supply stores actually sell "Jack Richeson" stretcher bars at higher prices than MSRP !!!
