I think a second look is in order, given its $2300 price.
One thing I did notice in the first review, though, was the complaint about its colors being off. Yet, it looked closer to the offset printed example than the other four, especially in the reds and purples. One thing that the reviewer missed is that the sensor in the SD1 has equal resolution for each color, unlike Bayer sensors. I think the reviewer was so used to the over-saturated mess that Bayer sensors typically give you that realistic colors come off as "wrong".
