Nice sky, well composed and exposed. Might be a little stronger with a foreground that leads the viewer into the picture, as in Shaun's recent rainy sky image.

I recognize this photo...

I agree with sdwilsonsct in the need for a foreground - but that could just be my narrow "classic landscape" point of view. That being said, after zeroing in on the brightest part of the image - the yellow are just above the horizon - the cloud-sky edge acts as leading line bringing us around to the right and then to the top left. Great drama!

I can see why you moved away from the much used 1/3 sky comp....the sky is superb. But a mighty sky such as that needs something pretty impressive to rest upon and for me iam afraid the silhouetted land just isnt enough.....love the sky and the very natural colours you've maintain within it.
