It looks like a YouTube for Hasselblad users.

Hope it won't take their attention away from making great cameras.

Unlikely!!!

http://htv.hasselblad.com/

There is plenty of information there.  In particular lots of tutorials in using the H system and Phocus.  Pick your preferred language out of 6!

Dear David,

Everything works perfectly, even on the iPhone / iPad. Cool marketing tools :)
I am curious just how iPad user has to know about it ...
Propaganda chief has forgotten that hasselblad.com page is made in the old technology? He can not forget just simply do not know :) iPad user sees a big white stain on our website hasselblad.com ... I assume that HTV really cost a lot of money. And no one had thought to replace flash technologies with HTML 5 technology?? so users iPad ments find out about the existence of this wonderful tool ;)

Another free but very valuable attention  8)

If we consider the value of sharing information to inspire creative effort, or a better way to perform a task then it seems reasonable to believe that this is a great way to support the client and market.

Good job!

Hear my challenge to share your best practices!

Be creative,

John

This is an interesting development. It looks like http://www.youtube.com/user/HasselbladAS?blend=1&ob=0, with two differences:
  • Classification on the new platform
  •  Proprietary: that could boost the confidence of the uploader.

Some recommendations:
  • When the user press next or last or any specific page on the selector the running video should not change.  The video should change only if the user select a video.
  • When I peek a video on the 3th page the selector resets to the first one. This is totally unacceptable for a modern web application.  The full page should not be "reloaded just because"
  • This one is harder, so maybe should be implemented only if the number of users that upload is not to big or if you get some revenue: English captions.

In general I like  the look and the classification of the content.   Let see how it evolves,

Best regards,

James

Gee, I tried to watch a few of the videos, and found them all to be in languages I couldn't understand. I did note another poster mentioned picking a preference language from a choice of 6, but I didn't see where to do so. Does this imply that there are sub-titles available, or is there actual over-dubbing?

Hi Michael,

After going to your chosen channel, look for your language under the channel itself.

Worldwide, fewer computers are sold. Maybe it's a good idea to change the home page...
iPad is the most widely used device for photographers and advertising people.
