Odd LR3 start-up cataloge problem
« on: February 01, 2012, 09:10:11 pm »

So I was upgrading memory on my W7 PC from 8GB to 16GB. The new memory caused allot of problems so I pulled it to return it and put back in the old memory and now I get the message below from LR3 even though absolutely nothing else is running that I can tell via task manager.
The only other thing I did was update the graphics card driver and the CPU drivers (at the suggestion of the MC manufacturers). Same message on all three of my catalogs on three different external drives.  Rebooting does nothing. Any thoughts?

Figured it out. Sometimes during a crash the "lock" file gets left behind and prevents access. Delete it and its good to go.
