Hassy H4D Trade in Promo

According to Hassy's site, their trade-in promo ending 12/31/11, meaning I'm too late to participate. Does anyone know if there is, or will be, an extension?

My fault for delaying of course. I've been pondering between a new CFV50 DB for my V system, or a new H4D40 camera, using my CZ lenses. My "dream" camera would be the H4D plus the 35-90 zoom, but at retail prices I could not afford both. Well, with the trade-in offering for my 501CM plus CFV DB, I could have the H4D/40 plus 35-90 zoom for less than $21,000. $4000 more than the CFV50 DB alone; but, I think, a wiser move to invest the additional $4000 into a state-of-the-art camera.

Is this trade-in calculator right?

My understanding was that if you traded in a H4X body you did not need to trade in a digital back.

Hi Joris,

You can trade in a H4x or a MF digital back (or both). A separate H4x program carries the value of the $5595 for 12-months toward any H4D purchase (which is advantageous over the 'standard' trade-in values.)

The pessimist in me approaches the trade-in matrix with contempt for it's if-then-else cornucopia of possible combinations, but in the end, the optimist in me is glad there is something in there for nearly everyone and ability to accommodate a vast set of existing equipment that is in the market.

I confess, I find utility in the calculator!
