Help with Editing Proshow File
« on: January 25, 2012, 08:10:02 pm »

My daughter gave me a family photo slide show DVD produced with Pro Show  that has a wrong spelling
of the Title.  I purchased a copy of the software thinking that it would be easy to just load the file and edit the
title.  But I was wrong.  I have installed  Pro Show Gold, but I have no clue what to do to edit the Title.
All I've been able to do is play the file.  Please help. - How do I edit the title  to correct a spelling mistake.

Thanks.

If she sent you the actual saved ProShow Slideshow file (but not ran through the output process), and the PXC file that accompanies it, you should be able to edit the show.  But, if she only sent you the created output (finished show), then you probably can not edit anything.  I am not sure about compatibility across different version of ProShow, but if you have the same version, you should be able to edit the original unprocessed file.

Thanks.  What I have is the finished output DVD.  That's why I could not edit the files then.
