Now the fun starts! Installed 6.3.3, connected my AFi, computer started to update the firmware and... error after 5 minutes. Shut down all, reboot PC and succeeded to start a new tethered session. All seems working as previous. However, no way that C1 proposed me to update the firmware. I have the 5.041 on the back, will try to update C1 on my Lapetop and see if the firmware can be updated from there.
Any advice/tips are more than welcome. Cheers. Jean-Luc By the way, i put a brand new fully charged battery on my Leaf before starting the process.

If there's an upgrade, why wouldn't you install it from LC (as opposed to C1)? Has anyone tried that yet?

Hi Neil, good point. This is a good excuse to borrow my wife's IMac, install the latest LC and try to see if the firmware will be updated. Just tried on my lapetop without success, at least I can still shoot after the message error.

Maybe its just for the AFi-ii 12?    The C1 6.3.3 update installed the firmware V. 5.41 on my AFi-ii 12
Oddly when the files are viewed in LC the show as having firmware v.5.041 not 5.41

I don't see any difference - if anything the files look noisier.

Happy new year everyone!

You can use this article to see the latest firmware for the different backs. The table gets updated regularly

Yair,
Thanks, but is there also a page that explains what the new firmware changes/fixes/unfixes?

If you are referring to the FW that was released with LC11.5.3, then I have had it installed on my Aptus II 12 for a few weeks and it has been fine.
