I think that you might want to check out the new Canon S100 which replaced the S95. DPreview.com has a nice review of it and the Panasonic Lumix LX5.
I have the LX5 which I purchased as an upgrade to the previous model LX3. It's a great camera and it shoots RAW which is an important criteria for me. I only have two issues with the LX5: 1) It's easy to bump the manual/macro and auto focus slide switch on the side of the lens barrel out of position; and 2) It's too big for a shirt pocket.
The features that I like about the LX5 are many, but here are my top picks: 1) Shoots RAW, 2) Leica lens, 3) lots of manual controls, 4) image quality, 5) reasonably good flash for a P&S camera and 6) Easy to shoot video while taking stills.
If I was looking now to buy a RAW-capable P&S, I would seriously consider the Canon S100 because it does not have the two issues that mentioned above with the LX5.
Cheers.
