FS: Canon 14mm F/2.8L, Mark II

Hi All:

Parting with my beloved 14mm rectilinear lens. This is one fantastic piece of optical engineering. 14mm, but not a fisheye! I bought this for doing residential interiors, but this work has completely dried up (OTOH I did make enough with it to pay for it...). Mine is in perfect condition, like new, caps and original box.

If you love WA shooting, it does not get any better than this. I have ended up using it in a lot of landscape situations, see attachments. Given the high value of this lens, it was one of the ones I promised the wife I'd sell when I got my Leica kit  :-\.

If you use this link:

It will take you to my blog and a bunch of images taken with this lens. You'll get some ideas how it can be used. I'm going to miss this one, will have to utilize my trusty 16-35 in the future.

I bought on amazon, i.e.

http://www.amazon.com/Canon-Ultra-Wide-Angle-Digital-Cameras/dp/B000V5P94Q/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1324333964&sr=1-1

On ebay, the lowest completed listing I saw by a us seller was $1,625. The high was $1,925.

I'm thinking $1,800 net to me. I'll pay UPS Ground Insured CONUS. Contact me if interested, PM here, or photos@bobtowery.com.

Thanks for looking and happy holidays.
