AJ

I would recommend upgrading from 3.0 to 3.6. Besides new camera support there are a lot of bug fixes incorporated and performance mprovements.

There have also been many lens profiles added during the dot updates from 3.0 to 3.6.

Not to mention a whole new bunch of Camera Calibrations for the Nikon D3, D300 & D700 which were authored by the above gentleman. The series, now named v4, has quietly been added to the calibration drop down in Develop; and is less than obvious until one takes a peek. 'Hiding one's light under a bushel' springs to mind.

I think you should use caution upgrading to 3.6. On my Mac, I found the 3.6 update unstable - occasional spinning cursor hangs, false errors reading files and tons of debug messages logged to the console when editing. Most of the problems I have had appear to be connected to using DNG files, converted from Canon RAW by Lightroom.

In the end I reverted the 3.5 release, which seems to work reliably (though this isn't much help if you need the newly supported Cameras in 3.6).

Hopefully there will be another update before all development transitions to LR4...
