A Woman and a Skateboarder
« on: December 08, 2011, 07:48:16 pm »

I haven't posted anything here for a while, so I thought I'd share a couple taken earlier this year that I've recently put up elsewhere.  Both are from film, Provia 100 I think.  C&C is always appreciated.

Nice having you back, Jennifer. We were just chattng about missing persons over in Coffee Corner (Les Femmes).

Your first shot, were it in b/w and you worked on the light/dark and made it a bit sombre, would be classic, early Sarah Moon, her best period in my humble o. That was the first thought that struck me. That's actually some praise, as she's one of my favourites from whenever!

Right, Rob, but at the moment it's classic Edward Hopper. He'd have loved that picture. He made at least one painting I can think of that's very similar in impact.

You two are crazy: it's in Scotland! The Outer Hebrides, for heaven's sake.

Anything else is a fraud, a breach of intellectual property, piracy most foul!
