On a sample basis of one the new process seems to work well, now has all the necessary controls to set contrast, RGB, and luminance. And yes, there is still a need for a tool to adjust cheaper monitors.
I didn't see any changes for printer profiling, anybody seen differences?

Added by edit - one remaining frustration, have not found any means to force a linear video card lut for a display profile, as per Profilemaker. If a display is reasonably well behaved there is no reason to "double up" adjustments in both the video card lut and the profile.
