Just curious - do the retrofocal wides have more distortion?

In general, yes, they tend to.  Many of them have a characteristic wave or half-wave signature, such that the central part of the image has slight barrel distortion, and the outer zones taper off to neutral or sometimes slight pincushion.

Are all Rhodenstock lenses retrofocal?
Doesn't this way of making them generally cause less problems with the 80 mp sensors?

Those are great shots Chris, particularly the 2nd one, but I find that both are already telling a story.

This actriz is really good on screen, she has a lot of personality and a face you hardly forget.

Very nice.

Not all Rodies are Retro, but many.  This design is actually MORE compatible with the IQ 180 as the rear element is farther from the sensor at focus, thereby producing a more desirable angle of incidence.
