At least the most beautiful shorebird perhaps?

These little guys are incredible arent they? They live up high in the Andes mountains in Peru and Chile. They can only be found at elevations above 4500m  :shock:

Be prepared to be out of breath if you ever go and try to photograph them ;)

Surely you have a Golden plover in your image collection?

Interesting. When I was looking through your Peru gallery the other day, I was trying to guess the birds at the family level, and I figured this one for a snipe of some sort. So at least I got the family right. But now that I look at its eye, I wonder if the bird is a lot smaller than I first thought -- maybe peep size?

In any case, your work is, as usual, incredible.
