waiting for mama
« on: November 30, 2011, 06:31:16 pm »

Like it a lot - a mix of Michael's frequent geometric composition, random street shot and the unexpected at two levels: I'd expect the boy shadow while the woman's shadow seems to tell us she's waiting for the next kid. Kind of surprising and recursive. Well done.

I keep looking at this image. It's fascinating. The boy in such a perfect position. The shadow - that's crazy. I even like the band of white at the top. Enjoying street photography as I do, and having just been to SMA myself, I can vouch for how difficult it would be to catch this moment. Very well done Michael. I'm either inspired or needing to pitch my camera in the trash!
