How to check the version of a color profile?

icc v 2 or 4? Using the profile file itself and when attached to an image?
Also what is the version of the HDTV REC. 907 profile that appears in the profiles menus in Photoshop?

On the Mac, you can double-click the profile and it'll bring up the ColorSync Utility, and then the "Specification Version" field will tell you.

Exiftool is your friend as usual.
